In addition to offering gardening resources, this post highlights a valued Green Scene advertiser.
At Land & Seascapes, the “Walkabout” display gardens are a must-visit for those who can appreciate the beauty, serenity, peacefulness, and distinction that took 10 years to create. During your tour, you’ll encounter ponds, waterfalls, lighting, and every type of landscaping imaginable.
Walkabout is essentially a visual resume designed by Steven Katz, owner of Land & Seascapes, to give potential clients the ability to visualize their ideas and dreams. With that in hand, Steven and his crew will turn them into reality.
With more than 32 years of experience, Steven has a wealth of knowledge in landscape design and construction, lighting, and pond construction and maintenance. His passion and ability to create designs that are festive, inviting, and have year-round appeal are what sets Steven and Land & Seascapes apart.
When you visit Steven’s website at LandandSeascapes.com, you’ll encounter beautiful photos of his creations, as well as accolades from past clients. Clients Ed and Ilene from Wynnewood said, “We just cannot say enough positive things about the experience you have created for us in our own house, clearly much closer to a home now. The final result has just blown us away. The vision was nice; the reality is truly breathtaking.”
You can experience Steve’s vision during a two-hour tour entitled, “In the Garden: Lighting Up Your Landscape” on Tuesday, May 22 from 7 to 9 pm. Nighttime lighting in the garden is often an afterthought, but just think of the many hours you enjoy in your garden in the cool of the evening!
This dusk-to-dark garden transition tour of Steven and his wife, Jacqui’s lovely Delaware County garden will showcase the many diverse lighting techniques they have installed to make the outdoor spaces inviting all night. Steven will answer questions as you collect dozens of ideas for turning your garden into a 24-hour-a-day paradise. The tour is limited to 25 people; $18 members, $23 nonmembers. Steven invites you to call him at 610-996-3248 or send an email to have a conversation about turning your landscape dreams into reality.
