  2. Great reading all the replies from those that are as excited as I am about the pending show. This is my 1st time visiting Philadelphia and the show. elnell is my Pinterest name. As a child I had a Peace rose growing directly under my bedroom window. In the summer, as the evening finally brought a break from the heat, catching a whiff of the scent from this beautiful flower was a wonderful way to fall asleep.

  3. The Philadelphia flower show has always fallen during the week of my birthday (3/9) and it is my absolut only gift wish every year! Thank you for this yearly event that brings so many smiles and memories to everyone who attends. My Pinterest user name is “loghan6231”. Simple tulips are my absolute favorite flowers! Thay are the first flower that my daughter gave me when she was little, and they always remind me that spring is a time of “awakenings” and “new life”!

  4. Pinterest username is krmasucci. I’ve never been to the Flower Show but I’m dying to go. I’ve been a landscape architect is Philadelphia for a few years and it just seems wrong that I haven’t been able to go! Looking forward to the Brilliant! theme, too, since I love all things English.

  5. Hi – my pinterest user name is harris269. I love the flower show and remember going with my mother down the long escalator at the old Convention Center by HUP and CHOP. My sister and I go every year now. I cannot wait to this year’s and may even enter my husband’s new restaurant for the window theme!!

  6. The Philadelphia flower show is a family tradition for us. A right of passage to attend with the ladies in the family. As I type this the aroma of blissful blooms flood my memories of years gone by. wellsamy on pinterest.

  7. Rita Bliden on Pinterest. “Brilliant” idea! Can’t wait for the show-it “smell” like spring when I walk in the convention center! I love that! And purple flowers. And Mike McGrath.

  8. My Pinterest user name is crcl3636. Can’t wait for the 2013 Flower Show!! It is my annual launch event into spring!!! To win tickets? Priceless!!! Thanks for the opportunity!

  9. Brilliant! The David Austin rose I pinned reminds me of my mother’s rose garden in Philadelphia. As a child my job was to pick the beetles from the roses by hand and put them in a jar of water and corn oil. Hmm. I never thought of my mother as an ‘organic’ gardener. I just knew she could grow roses. Intoxicating fragrance and visually stunning this rose makes a wonderful bouquet, real or virtual. My Pinterest name is Linda Cody. Brilliant idea btw.

  10. I live for this flower show every year. No matter where I am, I’ve traveled from near and far for 25 years to breathe in the beauty and the wonderful happy feeling this show experience always is. The first sign of Spring!

  11. Liz Grover on pinterest I absolutely can’t wait for the flower show this year! I just keep hearing how awesome and brilliant it will be! Love it! If I could win tix it would be unbelievable and I would be so grateful 🙂 thx

    1. Thanks, Liz. This Show is shaping up to be one to remember. I think it’s a sure-fire theme that offers endless possibilities. Have my fingers crossed to see references James Bond and Jane Austen (just not in the same exhibit).

    1. You should definitely exhibit Donna. We always tell people it’s not as scary as it may seem. In fact, it’s a lot of fun!
